  • Responsibilities

    Reporting to the Corporate Controller, this position is responsible for bank reconciliations, preparing journal entries and reconciliations for monthly general ledger close, performing financial analysis, promoting sound accounting practices while assisting in the delivery of timely and accurate financial statements and completing special projects as directed.

    The ideal candidate will excel in the following areas:

    Preparation of general ledger entries and account reconciliations for month-end closing in a timely manner.

    Responsibility for monthly key vendor calculations and payment processing.

    Assist in management of the fixed asset module and procedures.

    Preparation and detailed review of all Team Member expense reimbursements.

    Maintains and enhances effective internal controls.

    Develops processes and procedures to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting in compliance with GAAP/IFRS.

    Review monthly accounting close process including analytical review of the monthly operating results to ensure accurate accounting records are maintained.

    Analyzes budget to actual differences and can present findings in a meaningful manner.

    Recommends changes to improve systems and financial performance.

    Represents finance on cross-functional teams to complete projects as required.

    Position Requirements:

    Bachelor degree preferred.

    Minimum of three years of relevant experience.

    Great Plains Dynamics experience preferred.

    Excellent interpersonal skills.

    Strong project management and time management skills.

    Self-motivated and driven to succeed.

    Demonstrated ability to interact effectively with the financial leadership team.

    Excellent computer skills in a Microsoft Windows environment. Must include Word, Excel and Power Point.

    Exhibits an appropriate level of confidentiality.

    Excellent organizational skills.

    Flexible and enthusiastic.

    Physical Demands:

    Must have and maintain physical, sensory, emotional and mental abilities necessary for effective communication in person, in writing and by telephone.

    Must have good memory skills; be able to organize thoughts and activities and articulate clearly.

    Must be emotionally mature and able to appropriately handle stress.
