    The Maintenance Technician is a critical part of the Facilities Management program. This person is part of a team designed to function in a role to assist with maintaining Company Stores. This role is both proactive and reactive and requires critical thinking and problem solving with maintaining, repairing, and providing preventative maintenance support for facilities.

    Scope:

    While reporting to the Facilities Manager, as a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for performing maintenance repairs and preventative maintenance checks for 25+ Sport Clips stores located in the Austin, Texas area with potential travel to other Company Store markets (including Las Vegas, NV, Oklahoma City and Tulsa, OK, Little Rock and northwest AR). These tasks will be performed with the highest of standards necessary to provide high quality, efficient, timely repairs of the facilities. Safety, quality, productivity, efficiency, inclusiveness, and a strong work ethic are important values to the Sport Clips culture.

    Key Criteria/Requirements:

    5-10 years’ experience in the following areas:

    Diagnosing, testing, repairing, and maintaining equipment, furniture, and items required for store operation.

    Electrical – central vacuum system, low voltage equipment, interior lighting, switches, store signs, massage chairs, ceiling fans, emergency lighting, washing machine, clothes dryer, exhaust fans, minor electrical repairs.

    Plumbing – clearing drains, toilet and sink repair, repairing gas, electric, and tankless and tanked water heaters.

    Technology – television, HDMI cabling, HDMI switches, WiFi.

    Mechanical – Door and cabinet repair, hydraulic stylist chairs, massage chairs.

    HVAC – filter replacement, belt adjustment and replacement, coil cleaning and preventative maintenance checks.

    Drywall and Paint – minor wall repair, paint, cove base, ceiling tiles, poster hanging.

    Proficient with CMMS, able to navigate technology to complete daily duties.

    Experience in the retail industry working with the general public.

    Able to adhere to Company policies and procedures.

    Comfortable with ladders, kneeling, bending, and twisting; lifting up to 50 lbs.

    Able to work flexible hours.

    Able to work independently with limited supervision.

    Must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

    50% travel required
