Job Summary The Flag Football Coordinator creates a high-energy, inclusive environment for players, parents, and coaches across all skill levels. In this hands-on role, you will build community relationships and uphold instructional standards through active mentorship. By observing and assisting volunteer coaches during practices and games, you play a vital role in developing athletic skills and ensuring a safe, organized, and memorable i9 Sports experience.
Responsibilities
Empower volunteer coaches to lead practice sessions focusing on fundamentals, skill development, and fun
Teach & demonstrate core concepts including Sportsmanship values
Supervise the overall operation of designated sport on game day.
Ensure game-day schedule is adhered to and all games/practices are started on time
Consistently demonstrate a positive attitude and superior customer service skills
Assist with set-up and breakdown of athletic fields and equipment.
Fill-in as a team coach as needed or if volunteer coach is unavailable.
Officiate soccer games as needed.
Qualifications
Excellent communication skills
Sport-specific experience & knowledge
Highly motivated self-starter; can work independently & solve problems
Awareness & ability to take charge of any situation to ensure the safety of players
Positive attitude and a strong ability to build professional relationships
Ability to work a varied work schedule including weekends and some evenings (for the full duration of the season, ~7 weeks)
Must be able to pass a National Criminal Background Check
Spring seasons start on March 29th and runs for seven weeks.
