    Job Title: Spot Welder – 1st Shift
    Location: Evendale, OH
    Pay: $17.00 – $20.00 per hour (based on experience)
    Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
    Overtime: Minimal

    Position Overview:

    We are seeking an experienced Spot Welder to join our Sheet Metal department in Evendale. This is a first-shift opportunity with steady weekday hours and little to no overtime.

    The Spot Welder is responsible for fabricating equipment using resistance (spot) welding techniques on various metals. This role requires precision, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced shop environment.

    Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

    • Receive and review instructions, blueprints, and work orders

    • Plan work procedures, tools, and material requirements

    • Clean and prepare metal surfaces for welding

    • Set up, assemble, and weld parts using resistance (spot) welding equipment

    • Build up worn or defective metal surfaces as needed

    • Pull industrial plastic coating off metal sheets to prepare for fabrication

    • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area

    • Complete required documentation accurately and efficiently

    Qualifications:

    • Previous spot welding experience required

    • At least 1 year of manufacturing experience, preferably in sheet metal

    • Ability to read a ruler and micrometer

    • Knowledge of measuring tools including dial calipers and squares

    • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and procedural instructions

    • Basic math skills

    • Good attendance and positive attitude

    • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced production environment

    • Strong communication skills

    Physical Requirements:

    • Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs. consistently and repetitively

    • Frequent standing, walking, stooping, bending, lifting, and overhead work

    • Ability to perform precision work where errors could result in material damage

    • Comfortable working in a semi-climate-controlled shop environment
