Schedule: Full-Time | Hourly | Front Half 5am-5pm or Back Half 5pm-5am

You’ll play a critical role in ensuring trailers are safely moved between loading areas, staging lots, and customer locations—all while being a reliable part of a well-supported team.

What You’ll Accomplish
Safe & Efficient Transport: Move trailers between yards, docks, and sites using spotting trucks and shuttle vehicles.
Yard & Load Coordination: Help manage trailer inventory and drop pools, track red tags, and coordinate repairs.
Driver & Dispatch Support: Assist with route planning, scheduling, appointment setting, and communication with vendors.
Documentation Excellence: Ensure all driver paperwork, load details, and system updates are processed accurately.
Regulatory Compliance: Operate in full compliance with DOT regulations, company safety standards, and hours-of-service rules.
Collaborative Communication: Coordinate effectively with dispatch, drivers, and customer teams to keep freight flowing.
Problem Solving in Real Time: Address delays, equipment issues, or route changes with minimal disruption to operations.
Performance Metrics
Effective daily shuttle/spotting operations with no safety violations
100% compliance with inspection and documentation requirements
Timely communication and issue resolution with internal and external stakeholders
Contribute to load planning and seasonal volume management as needed
Strong attendance and reliability
What You Bring
Required:
Valid CDL
2+ years’ experience operating spotting trucks, shuttle vehicles, or day cabs with hydraulic 5th wheels
High school diploma or equivalent
Strong communication and multitasking skills
Attention to detail and a focus on safety
Preferred:
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in logistics, business, or supply chain
Experience coordinating logistics, managing driver paperwork, and communicating with vendors
Work Environment & Physical Requirements
Indoor/outdoor work (occasional exposure to yard/weather conditions)
Periodic sitting, walking, lifting (5–20 lbs.), and operating heavy equipment
Frequent use of radios, phone systems, and dispatch tools
Standard hours with occasional overtime or travel as needed
Additional Responsibilities
Attend team meetings (in-person or virtual)
Communicate clearly and respectfully across departments
Participate in special projects or cross-functional logistics support as assigned
