We're looking for mechanically-minded individuals with manufacturing or machine operating experience who take pride in hands-on work. Springmaking is a highly specialized trade — one that we will teach you. What You'll Do :
- Learn to fabricate custom metal springs used in everyday and mission-critical products
- Operate CNC-style machines designed specifically for springmaking
- Set up, adjust, and fine-tune machines to exact tolerances
- Read blueprints and customer specifications
- Inspect finished parts using calipers, micrometers, and other gauges
- Work with your hands to shape, cut, and finish components from wire and steel
- Troubleshoot machine issues and improve setup efficiency over time
- Collaborate closely with skilled craftspeople and production leaders
- Train under experienced springmakers and grow your skills month after month
What We're Looking For:
- At least 2 years of experience in manufacturing, machining, or mechanical assembly
- Strong mechanical aptitude – if you like fixing things, building, or tinkering, you'll fit right in
- Solid attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Comfortable with computers and machine interfaces (basic Microsoft Office use required)
- Willingness to learn a new skill that takes time and patience to master
Nice to Have (But Not Required):
- Prior experience with CNC machines, mills, lathes, or forming machines
- Familiarity with hydraulics, pneumatics, or metal fabrication
- Ability to read blueprints or technical drawings
- Vocational training or military experience
