We are looking for Mechanic to join our team. The Mechanic is responsible for performing a wide range of diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on the fleet of vehicles, small equipment, and other company vehicles.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Determine vehicle and equipment condition by conducting inspections and diagnostic tests, identifying worn and damaged parts.

Perform maintenance on equipment and perform repairs to trucks, vans, trailers, and equipment, and any other company vehicles and equipment.

Keep equipment and vehicles compliant by completing preventative maintenance scheduled, including, but not limited to; installing components, parts, or systems, such as, power and drive trains, transmissions, engines, electrical, fuel, exhaust system, steering, brakes; valve mechanisms, oil systems, etc...

Maintain vehicle records by service and repair orders.

Ensure all shop equipment is maintained and in good operating condition.

Contain costs by using warranty, evaluating service and parts options.

Maintain appropriate inventory of supplies, ensuring orders are placed and inventory is received.

Maintain a clean and professional work environment including tools, and equipment.

Perform any other duties assigned.

Welding as needed.

Keep the Operations Manager updated on repairs and maintenance.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

3-5 years of experience

ASE Certifications Preferred

A Valid Driver’s License

Knowledge of safety practices and procedures.

Must be able to communicate clearly.

Must display tact and courtesy, establishing and maintaining effective working relationships.

Must provide own tools

Physical Requirements:

Usually work indoors. May occasionally repair company vehicles and equipment road.

Sometimes work with hazardous equipment, tools, situations, and conditions.

Wear protective / safety gear as required.

Lift and carry at least 50 lbs.

Job Type: Full-time

Compensation: $30.00 - $35.00 per/hour based on experience
