Job Description

Spring Venture Group is looking for a college student who wants a real-deal, hands-on, paid internship. As a Financial Analytics Intern at Spring Venture Group, you will gain valuable experience working in the Finance department of one of Kansas City’s fastest-growing companies. The primary objective of this role will be to conduct and present analysis both for our existing operations as well as potential new opportunities. This position will report to the Manager, FP&A and work with management from a variety of departments to make an impact on the company in their time at Spring Venture Group.

The essential duties for this role include, but are not limited to:

• Providing general support for the Finance department
• Evaluate, prioritize, and develop data visualizations through Tableau
• Perform data analysis to support investment and financial decisions
• Research, organize, and analyze data and recommendations
• Provide support for ongoing reporting through data analysis and input

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance
• Strong communication skills, including written and verbal
• Introductory experience with Microsoft Excel
• Must be able to handle multiple projects and prioritize time effectively
• Ambitious, organized, results-driven individual that enjoys working as a team but can also thrive independently
