    WHERE YOU FIT:

    Springbrook is currently seeking a revenue accountant who can join our team bridging the operations of the business with accounting and finance. As a successful candidate, you will be responsible for ensuring timeline and accurate recording and reporting of revenue. Having a strong accounting background of ASC 606, you will support the month-end close activities for these workflows. You excel in problem-solving, leading automation projects, recommending solutions, and thinking strategically on a process level, while also being comfortable getting into the details.

    This opportunity is available for remote work, but preference will be given to candidates near our HQ in Portland, OR, or one of our other office locations (Spokane, WA and Williamsville, NY).

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Establish and maintain month-end close procedures for products that will effectively scale as the business evolves
    • Maintain and enhance existing processes and controls for newer, evolving product offerings ensuring revenue is recognized in accordance with US GAAP and internal revenue recognition policies
    • Review contracts and legal terms as well as support the sales and deal desk teams during deal negotiations
    • Coordinate with sales and legal post deal negotiations to monitor significant revenue transactions impacting agreements with customers
    • Ensure compliance with key control objectives in the Order to Cash (OTC) cycle
    • Review reconciliations and flux analysis as part of the month-end close
    • Assist with financial statement audits
    • Support ad-hoc accounting projects and analysis as required, including design of accounting operational processes, business processes, automation activities, data analysis and management reporting

    REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
    • 4 years of experience in the SaaS industry
    • Advanced Excel skills
    • Ability to handle multiple competing priorities
    • High attention to detail
    • Exceptional analytical and communication skills

    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Public accounting experience
    • Sage Intacct and Salesforce.com proficiency
