We launched in the summer of 2016 in Cleveland, and we've been working to rapidly scale our operations. Located in Valley View, Ohio, we currently ship our healthy meals throughout eleven states. We recently launched in New York State and in the next 12 months, we are working on quickly expanding even more across the East Coast. Within the next couple of years, we will open a West Coast facility and serve clients nationally - from San Francisco all the way to New York City. Position Overview: The primary project will be collaborating with our team to drive down food cost by reducing/eliminating food waste. The Intern will also be working on a wide variety of startup projects that will include anything and everything related to growing a startup and making operations more efficient. Key Responsibilities: Learn the relevant workflows related to the meal production process Follow established programs, policies, and practices to produce safe quality foods that meet regulatory and company requirements. Support the development, implementation, maintenance, and ongoing improvement of recipes Collaborate with the procurement team to impact inventory and cost efficiency. Assist in the tracking of product yields within the production process. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications: Currently enrolled in an accredited undergraduate program related to Culinary Arts, Food Production, Food Science, Operations Management, Project Management, or other related field Excellent computer skills Demonstrates expertise in Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Outlook, Word) Excellent written and oral communication skills Strong initiative and problem-solving skills Outstanding attention to detail General project management knowledge Time management skills, with the ability to handle various responsibilities while meeting deadlines Eagerness and willingness to learn Maintain a positive attitude to continued learning and support of the overall business Maintain a minimum GPA of 3.0 PERKS INCLUDE: Work directly with managers at Sprinly on a daily basis on important projects with meaningful impact Gain insights into all of the building blocks and strategies of building a high-growth ecommerce startup Directly contribute to the direction/impact of Sprinly Paid internship with competitive compensation Free organic plant-based meals anytime in the office Travel Required: Less than 25%, all local to the Cleveland area Location: Valley View, OH, USA Benefits and Compensation: This position is a paid internship, but does not offer a benefit package, bonus incentives, or company provided vehicles/ housing.
