    Job Description

    The Recruiting Coordinator is responsible for contributing to the success of Monro’s recruitment and staffing strategies by delivering a personal touch to candidates during the onboarding experience. The Recruiting Coordinator provides general support to the recruitment team in other areas, such as, screening, and posting, to ensure a positive and welcoming experience for candidates and new teammates. 

    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:  •    Assist in building, opening, and assigning new requisitions in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) •    Assist recruiters in posting openings using online venues, with professional organizations, job boards, and in other position-appropriate venues •    Assist recruiters in conducting phone screens for General Service Technician positions •    Support in the creation of offer letters and establishing new hire files as necessary •    Serve as a resource to candidates in the preboarding and onboarding process for new teammates by providing a personalized experience to each new hire •    Partner with HR Systems Coordinators to effectively launch onboarding requirements for new teammates •    Troubleshoot technical issues experienced by candidates in completing the preboarding or onboarding process and provide assistance as necessary •    Assess existing processes for continuous improvement and makes appropriate recommendations •    Stay current on Monro’s organization structure, human resources policies, and federal and state laws regarding employment practices •    Performs other related duties as assigned 

    MANAGEMENT RESPONSIBILITY:   The Recruiting Coordinator is an individual contributor to the team and operates under the direction of the Recruiting Team Lead.

    Qualifications

    EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:  Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience, or the equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience in a high-volume, multi-unit, multi-state environment preferred.

    KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS: •    Strong attention to detail •    Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with candidates and flex communication styles to provide exceptional level of service •    Strong candidate/teammate focus consistently performing with a sense of urgency •    Proficient with applicant tracking systems and other onboarding related software •    Proficient with all Microsoft Office applications and the ability to learn and become proficient with new and existing company specific software applications •    Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives and change focus quickly to meet business needs within a fast-paced environment •    Excellent verbal/written communication skills and presentation skills

    WORK ENVIRONMENT & PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:  This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, scanners and fax machines. Position requires prolonged periods of sitting/standing at a desk and working on a computer.
