    _SquarePeg has partnered with the nation's leading Market Research firm in the search for a passionate Executive Editor to lead and grow the Content and Publishing team  _ As Executive Editor, you will help shape the next generation of research by directing our Editorial and Production team responsible for thousands of reports, articles and charts every year. The Executive Editor will be responsible for elevating the strategic findings in our research and ensuring that our research succinctly conveys key industry trends through a combination of text, graphics and other media. This is a great opportunity to set the standard for Insider Intelligence's voice, tone, and communication style, and create innovative products at a large and growing international organization.

    • A STRATEGIC THINKER and doer who will ensure that analysts' writing and data analysis condenses critical insights and key industry trends into well-structured, readable reports that are digestible for readers.
    • A PROCESS-DRIVEN LEADER who is highly organized and has the ability to streamline workflow to meet aggressive report and other content goals. 
    • An INSPIRING INNOVATOR who can work within change and motivate their team to iterate and implement new product types.
    • An EXPERT MULTITASKER who can quickly triage competing priorities and is comfortable balancing long-term goals with short-term demands.

    Responsibilities

    • Manage a team of 10+ copy and line editors and partner with analysts and researchers to make sure that our teams are organized and our processes are streamlined to produce a high volume of digital content every day. 
    • Ensure the team distills complex information into easily digestible text and graphics and help analysts and researchers identify the best way to translate complex data and analysis into reports and articles using these formats. 
    • Own the voice, tone and communication style of research so that all of our reports are consistently written with our newly integrated brand.
    • Oversee collaboration between Edit and other Content teams (analysts, forecasters, and more) from report conception to publication.
    • Proactively solicit and optimize our product and processes based on client insights and metrics.

    Requirements

    • 7+ years of experience editing research reports or other long-form digital content. 
    • Proven track record of successfully managing teams and individuals at varying levels. increasing leadership experience. 
    • Experience publishing data products, including surveys and/or forecasts.
