    Toric is a data-platform that enables anyone to integrate, transform, model and visualize data, without writing code, and is used by Architecture & Planning, Civil Engineering, Construction, Real estate operations and developers to leverage their existing data. Using Toric companies can combine design, project, and finance data in one place for real time analysis, insights, and decision making. 

    Toric is a privately owned company, having raised $15m in equity financing from investors Storm Ventures, Leaders Fund, GFC, Real Ventures, Pathbreaker Ventures, and investors Carl Bass (former CEO of Autodesk) and Chris Lynch (chairman Data Robot). 

    WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

    We are currently seeking a New Business Account Executive to join our sales team. This role will work on our sales team to drive new logos to purchase Toric with the support of our Marketing, Technical, and Operations Teams.

    Toric offers a flexible work from home environment that will require some travel to Construction Technology Trade Shows, as well as occasional on-site meetings with larger customers.This role will report directly to our Sr. Director of Sales, and success is measured by revenue generated, coming primarily from New Business and secondarily from Account Growth. 

    Responsibilities

    • Generate and manage a pipeline from MQLs, Marketing Events, internal and external referrals and Self Sourcing.
    • Properly qualify opportunities continuously throughout the sales cycle.
    • Effectively understand customer pains, implications, and ideal solutions around data.
    • Work with our Technical team to deliver high quality technical demonstrations that address specific customer needs to build maximum value.
    • Work with multiple stakeholders to align on and build a strong business case.
    • Generate and deliver proposals inline with the value of the solution.
    • Effectively negotiate with customers with a win/win/win scenario in mind.
    • Work with our Operations team to ensure customers are set up for success day 1 of their subscription.
    • Work with our Operations and Technical teams to identify ongoing opportunities with your Customer Accounts.
    • Maintain strong working relationships with customers.
    • Flawlessly maintain salesforce records.
    • Accurately forecast your business.
    • Deliver client feedback to marketing and development teams to build a more effective products and services.
    • Ongoing education is required, both in sales skill and in industry knowledge.

     

    Requirements

    • 3-7 years of SaaS Selling Experience, preferably in Construction or Data/Analytics.
    • Experience selling to multiple stakeholders.
    • High business acumen.
    • Deep understanding of Sales Process.
    • Outstanding knowledge of MS Office; knowledge of CRM software (eg. Salesforce) is a plus
    • Excellent communication/presentation skills and ability to build relationships
    • Organizational and time-management skills

    TOP CHARACTERISTICS AND TRAITS FOR A SUCCESSFUL AE:

    • 2-5 years experience as a quota-carrying sales representative and/or sales prospecting experience
    • Ability to speak with CEOs, CFOs, VP Finance, Controllers, Accountants and ask intelligent questions
