    Key Responsibilities

    Finance and Accounting Oversight:

    • ****Lead and manage all aspects of financial operations, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
    • Supervise one part-time Accounting Specialist/HR Admin
    • Maintain all accounting and finance policies and procedures

    Payroll Management:

    • ****Review bi-weekly payroll processing, including employee onboarding/offboarding and changes.
    • Review quarterly and annual bonus/commission payments and ensure they are paid on time.
    • Monthly Close Supervision:
    • ****Review billing procedures, ensuring adherence to company policies.
    • Supervise timesheet and billable expense entry, collaborating with relevant teams for policy adherence.
    • Review and approve invoices, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
    • Ensure expenses are reimbursed timely
    • Review all reconciliations and financial results.

    Collections and Revenue Management:

    • ****Oversee collections and write-off procedures, ensuring consistency and efficiency.
    • Manage revenue recognition and expense management processes, maintaining accuracy and timeliness.

    Financial Reporting, Budgeting, and Planning:

    • ****Deliver comprehensive financial reports including P &L, balance sheets, and cash flow forecasts.
    • Coordinate financial statement reviews, providing insights to management.
    • Input annual budget into QBO.

    Human Resources and Policy Management:

    • ****Manage all HR policies, working with Insperity (our PEO) to ensure they are up-to-date and compliant.
    • Oversee recruiting activities, onboarding, and offboarding processes.
    • Be HR point of contact for all employee issues. Work with Insperity to ensure all issues are handled in accordance with their guidance.
    • Manage employee benefit programs, ensuring employee satisfaction. Handle open enrollment of all benefit plans
    • Ensure all HR compliance is completed on time
    • Attend both in-person team meetings
    • Assist in planning and coordinating company events.
    • Supervise and own Employee Compensation Reviews and Performance Reviews
    • Ensure decisions made by the Management Team are in keeping with furthering the SquareWorks corporate culture.

    Legal and Tax Compliance:

    • ****Liaise with insurance brokers and ensure insurance coverage is adequate for all needs
    • Manage vendor and customer agreements. Review and negotiate any customer/vendor requested changes to any contracts.
    • Owner of external legal relationship
    • Owner of external SALT subcontractor relationship, as well as Avalara
    • Systems are Bill.com, QBO, BigTime, Recurly
    • Possibly implement NetSuite
    • Oversee tax compliance and audits, maintaining strong relationships with external firms.
    • Manage banking relationships and loan processes.

    Qualifications

    • Minimum of 10 years of experience in financial management, preferably in a SaaS or technology environment.
    • Proven expertise in accounting, payroll management, and financial reporting.
    • Significant experience with HR functions
    • Strong leadership skills with experience in managing and developing teams.
    • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
    • Strategic thinking ability, with a focus on translating financial insights into business value.
    • Bachelor's or master's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field. CPA preferred.
