We’re seeking an experienced Accountant to handle financial reporting, reconciliations, payroll processing, and general accounting support across multiple clients. This role requires hands-on expertise with QuickBooks Online, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple accounts or customers efficiently. If you have a background in accounting firm environments and are comfortable with both transactional and analytical tasks, this is an excellent opportunity to contribute to a high-performing team.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage daily and monthly financial accounting activities, including journal entries, general ledger maintenance, and month-end close
Process and reconcile payroll transactions using systems such as Paycom or ADP
Reconcile bank statements and delegated general ledger accounts across multiple clients
Prepare supporting schedules and documentation for internal and external audits
Record and track accounts payable, cash deposits, and other key transactions
Utilize QuickBooks Online to maintain accurate financial records and ensure timely reporting
Support preparation of tax-related documentation and collaborate with tax professionals when necessary
Communicate regularly with assigned clients to ensure clarity, compliance, and timeliness of financial deliverables
Qualifications:
5+ years of accounting experience, ideally with exposure to multiple clients or an accounting firm setting
Proficiency in QuickBooks Online required; experience with other accounting platforms a plus
Knowledge of financial reconciliation, payroll processing, and audit preparation
Familiarity with Paycom, ADP, or similar payroll systems
Strong organizational and communication skills; ability to manage multiple priorities
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
CPA or EA certification is a plus but not required
Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining accurate financial records
