Contract Length: 12-months
Responsibilities 
- Evaluate business systems and user needs for applications/products supported by the eSSC team. 
- Recommend system and business process modifications to support business strategies through purchased or in-house developed software. 
- Write detailed descriptions of business goals, user needs, technology solution functions, and steps required to develop or modify those solutions. 
- Ensure thorough knowledge of requirements gathering and documentation practices, as well as software development methodologies. 
- Communicate requirements to software developers and ensure the designed solution meets business and user needs. 
- Resolve conflicting requirements with business users. 
- Work with project managers and scrum masters to develop timelines and manage project risks.
- Assist in the development of quality assurance test plans. 
- Help develop end-user documentation.
- Gather and document use cases and feature requirements. 
- Collaborate with project team of developers/QA analysts on features, enhancements, and fixes. 
- Serve as 2nd tier escalation point for issues related to system functionality. 
Requirements
- Requires a bachelor's degree in area of specialty and 6-8 years of experience in the field or in a related area. 
- Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. 
- Performs a variety of tasks. Leads and directs the work of others. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. 
- Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department.
