    Job Description

    The purpose of this job is to develop and grow the wholesale business through new customer acquisition and existing customer development. This position markets a portfolio of refined petroleum products.

    1. Increase refined product sales by prospecting new opportunities with existing customers and qualified prospects.
    2. Collaborate with the supply team daily to execute the strategic plan provided by wholesale leadership.
    3. Negotiate spot deals to maximize product value and positive impact to wholesale gross margin.
    4. Manage customer information and sales activity in CRM, following all sales processes provided by leadership.
    5. Collaborate with assigned regional team and leadership to plan and execute shared strategy.
    6. Manage individual pricing for all discretionary rack and delivered customers.
    7. Collaborate with internal departments to set up contracts and ensure that invoicing runs through the inventory and credit allocation system
    8. Review provided reporting to guide decisions and aggregate feedback for leadership.
    9. Mentor and teach more junior BDMs about market, trends, selling environment, and other information to help develop their understanding of the business.
    10. Model behaviors that support the company’s common purpose; ensure guests and team members are supported at the highest level
    11. Ensure all activities are in compliance with rules, regulations, policies, and procedures
    12. Complete other duties as assigned
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
    • Minimum 7-10 years’ experience in sales or petroleum related position required.
    • Advanced Salesforce/CRM skills
    • Intermediate Microsoft Office skills
    • Excellent written, verbal and listening communication skills
    • Excellent customer service skills
    • Excellent ability to negotiate and influence others
    • Advanced analysis skills and ability to use data for strategic planning
    • Ability to collaborate with internal departments and support teams
    • Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
    • Ability to work independently, multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
    • Travel required up to 50%
    • General office work requiring sitting or standing for long periods of time
