We’ve teamed up with a leading multidisciplinary engineering firm, and they are seeking an experienced Civil Engineer to lead and grow a well-established water resources practice serving the San Antonio and Austin markets. This is a senior leadership role focused on strengthening an existing team and client base, expanding market presence, and driving long-term growth. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as Practice Leader, managing and growing relationships with municipalities, agencies, and private clients
• Lead business development efforts, including pursuits, proposals, interviews, and contract negotiations
• Provide senior technical oversight for drainage and floodplain projects (studies, modeling, and design)
• Lead and mentor engineering staff while overseeing project performance, budgets, schedules, and quality
• Represent the firm with clients and regulatory agencies
• Ensure profitable, high-quality project delivery through strong QA/QC and operational oversight

Required Qualifications:

• BS in Civil Engineering
• Texas Professional Engineer (PE) and Certified Floodplain Manager (CFM)
• 10+ years of experience in drainage and water resources engineering
• Strong knowledge of the San Antonio and/or Austin market with established local relationships
• Proven leadership, project management, and business development experience
