    Job Title: Sr. Compensation Analyst

    Compensation: $117,000 - $145,000 Annual Salary

    The base salary or hourly wage range for this role will vary based on multiple factors, including but not limited to prior experience, relevant expertise, current business needs, and market factors.     About the Role:

    The Senior Compensation Analyst is responsible for executing compensation strategies and pay programs in the Company. This position supports business objectives while maintaining compliance with wage and hour regulations in North America. This role ensures our survey data is up to date, analyzes internal pay data and salary structures, and evaluates positions for career leveling and benchmarking. The position must partner well with key stakeholders including department leaders, learning, and communications teams to effectively roll out compensation programs. The senior compensation analyst stays current on industry trends and best practices and ensures our programs are compliant and able to attract and retain talent in a competitive labor market.

    Responsibilities:

    Compensation Strategy Execution

    Conduct data analysis for pay components (including tips) to ensure rates are competitive

    Responsible for salary survey participation (Mercer, WorldatWork, etc.), maintaining updated survey and census data in MarketPay

    Evaluates career leveling, benchmarking and salary grade assignment

    Maintain salary structures ensuring alignment with total rewards strategy

    Provide posting ranges to TA, review offers and provide recs on base and bonus

    Calculate and analyze the impact of tips on overall pay

    Utilize tipping models created by finance to evaluate the fairness and effectiveness of tip pooling

    Provide insights and inform compensation strategy for tipped positions (e.g., adjusting base wages, reevaluating bonus plans).

    Ensure compensation practices comply with relevant laws and regulations

    Program Processing

    General

    Maintain templates: pay changes, promotions, bonus, etc.

    Support development and maintenance of job description library / repository

    Bonus

    Partner with Finance to verify accuracy of calculations, and share Ops quarterly bonus notice with leaders to communicate

    Create and share RSC and Ops bonus notice annually

    Create total compensation statements annually for bonus eligible team members

    Auditing / Process Improvement

    Ensure range/structure info is available for users HRBP for roles they support

    Perform pay equity analysis annually and provide initial recommendations

    Audit jobs for content and work with leaders to understand jobs to ensure job descriptions reflect responsibilities, duties, and requirements.

    Year-End Process

    Be able to manage the CompPlanning process from beginning to end. This includes project planning, stakeholder management, training, implementation, and communications.

    Provide configuration requirements for CompPlanning to the HRIS Leader in preparation of year-end Comp Planning (including bonus)

    Responsible for maintaining data integrity inside the CompPlanning tool working closely with HRT to upload the data into the HRIS, and to ensure a timely payroll for increases and payouts

    Partner w/ L&D to create training materials. Partner with communications regarding intersection of perf mgmt and comp planning on timing and implementation.

    Other:

    Help manage mobility program, STAs and/or LTA and manage any requested exceptions to policy for needed positions

    Severance Related // Calculate severance costs, draft notification letters, severance agreements, and manage outplacement with vendor

    Job Requirements:

    Bachelor's degree (B.S.) preferred in business or finance, or equivalent experience

    7-10 years of working experience in Compensation or Human Resources

    Thorough knowledge of and experience with pay structures / plan designs including pertinent federal and state regulations

    More than three years of demonstrated ability in compensation consulting, program design and implementation

    Excellent attention to detail and accuracy; ability to multi-task and deal with shifting priorities and ambiguity

    Proficient in HR systems, Google Suite, MS Office, with advanced skills in Excel

    Ability to work with critical information and maintain confidentiality

    Preferred Requirements:

    World at Work Certified Professional (CCP) and/or Global Remuneration Program (GRP) Certification

    Experience with tipping models and analysis of total compensation (that includes tips)

    Sophisticated interpersonal skills, communication, and organizational skills

    Excellent planning and prioritization, problem solving, and business partnering skills

    Ability to resolve issues and maintain healthy working relationships at all levels, inside and outside the company

    Ability to influence and successfully implement organizational changes

    Experience in hospitality or restaurant industry

    Familiarity with Canadian employment law

    Essential Functions:

    Conduct market analysis and benchmarking

    Job evaluation to include career leveling, and assignment of appropriate pay grades

    Provide guidance on both internal and external offers for leaders, and talent acquisition

    Administer pay programs - including developing and maintaining pay structures / ranges, and managing bonus programs

    Model compensation budgets for annual planning and forecast the financial impact of compensation changes

    Support merit increase and bonus planning processes

    Must be flexible, collaborative, and have a can-do attitude to support the team and Company be successful.

    Special Requirements:

    Physical demands include sitting or standing in front of a computer screen/ monitor. Frequent use of a keyboard and mouse. Hybrid position. Some travel, as needed.
