    This role is responsible for leading project management and engineering design efforts for industrial automation and control system projects. The position ensures successful execution from concept through completion, delivering high-quality solutions on time and within budget. The ideal candidate combines strong technical expertise with effective project leadership and a high level of accountability.

    Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Lead and manage assigned projects, ensuring alignment with scope, schedule, and budget.

    • Coordinate project tasks and provide clear direction to team members.

    • Review and validate control system designs (hardware and software) for accuracy, functionality, and compliance with specifications.

    • Ensure all designs are independently reviewed before release for procurement, customer delivery, or field implementation.

    • Develop and maintain electrical and control system designs, including schematics, layouts, and standardized modules.

    • Maintain accurate project documentation, including drawings, change logs, and engineering records.

    • Follow established engineering processes and ensure timely delivery of all project deliverables.

    • Support sales and estimating efforts as needed.

    • Stay current with industry technologies and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

    • Take full ownership and accountability for project execution and outcomes.

    Required Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Controls Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.

    • Minimum of 5+ years of experience in project management and engineering design within an industrial automation or controls environment.

    • Demonstrated experience managing projects from concept through completion, including scope, budget, and schedule accountability.

    • Strong knowledge of control system design, including hardware (panel design, wiring diagrams) and software (PLC/HMI programming).

    • Proven ability to review and validate engineering designs for technical accuracy, compliance with specifications, and adherence to standards.

    • Experience developing and maintaining engineering documentation, including CAD drawings, design packages, and change logs.

    • Familiarity with industry standards, specifications, and best practices related to automation and control systems.

    • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.

    • Effective communication skills, with the ability to lead project meetings, coordinate cross-functional teams, and interface with customers.

    • Experience with project estimating and supporting pre-sales or proposal activities is a plus.

    • Proficiency with engineering design tools (e.g., AutoCAD Electrical or similar) and standard office software.

    • Self-motivated with a high level of accountability, attention to detail, and commitment to continuous improvement.
