Job Title: Sr. Corporate Accountant
Compensation: $92,300 - $115,000 Annual Salary
The base salary or hourly wage range for this role will vary based on multiple factors, including but not limited to prior experience, relevant expertise, current business needs, and market factors. About the Role:
The Senior Corporate Accountant is responsible for overseeing key financial processes and ensuring compliance with GAAP across all Din Tai Fung locations. This role supports strategic decision-making by delivering timely and accurate financial reporting, managing accounting operations, and guiding team members within the accounting department.
Responsibilities:
Ensure timely and accurate processing of vendor payments, payroll, and receivables.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports in compliance with GAAP.
Perform regular bank reconciliations and maintain accurate ledgers.
Maintain documented accounting policies, procedures, and controls.
Oversee and audit accounting operations across all locations.
Manage compliance with federal, state, and local reporting and tax requirements.
Collaborate effectively with financial stakeholders and departments.
Maintain orderly and confidential financial records and systems.
Job Requirements:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or related field
5-7 years of relevant accounting experience
Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel)
Understanding of GAAP and experience preparing compliant financial reports
Ability to pass a background check
Preferred Requirements:
Preferred industries: restaurant, warehouse, & manufacturing
Experience with accounting software (e.g., Sage, QuickBooks)
Familiarity with inventory management systems (e.g., Crunchtime, BatchMaster, or similar)
Point of sales system (e.g., Ctuit, Toast)
Familiar with 13-period accounting
Essential Functions:
Accurately manage financial reporting and processes across multiple locations
Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information and financial data
Regularly sit, stand, walk, lift up to 50 lbs, and use hands/arms for extended periods
