Job Summary

We are seeking a Sr. Design Engineer to join our team! As a Sr. Design Engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing the design, creation, and production of new homes and commercial properties , as well as evaluating current productions and processes and making recommendations to improve efficiency and outcome. You will also oversee a team of engineers and designers, offering guidance, mentorship, and disciplinary actions as needed. The ideal candidate for this position has a deep understanding of design and engineering principles, experience with management or leadership, and strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

Take input and needs from clients and translate that into actual product specifications and plans

Oversee product development of both new and existing products to improve efficiency

Lead a team of engineers and designers, offering mentorship and guidance

Create reports to present to stakeholders and management on the state of the team, production, and more

Qualifications

Bachelors or higher in design engineering, manufacturing engineering, or a related field desired

Previous leadership or management experienced desired

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills

Strong time management skills
