Responsibilities:

• Lead detailed cost estimates for large-scale industrial/commercial electrical projects, including take-offs, pricing, and bid strategies.
• Conduct site visits, pre-bid meetings, and risk assessments.
• Collaborate with project managers/engineers on execution plans and value engineering.
• Review proposals for accuracy/completeness; present to leadership.
• Refine cost databases using historical data/market trends.
• Mentor junior team members; improve department processes.

Qualifications:

• Degree in Electrical Engineering/Construction Management preferred.
• 7+ years electrical estimating experience in industrial/commercial construction.
• Proficiency in estimating software (e.g., McCormick, Accubid), Bluebeam.
• Strong knowledge of NEC, construction sequencing, best practices.
• Analytical/communication skills; ability to manage multiple bids.
  
• Experience with automation/controls, design-build a plus.
