    The Opportunity

    In this exciting role as a Sr. Employee Relations Consultant, you will provide direction, support, and recommendations for the resolution of critical and impactful employee relations activities. You will provide consultation and mentoring to Americas Region based managers and employees in related areas including workplace investigations, complex performance management, conflict resolution, supporting Company reorganizations, critical exit matters and employee wellbeing concerns. You will build strong partnerships and work closely with all levels of management, the Employee Experience Business Partners, Adobe Employment Counsel, Internal Partners and Centers of Excellence (COEs) with the goal of driving high employee engagement and thoughtful resolutions.

    What You'll Do

    • Demonstrate solid understanding of company policy, culture, and core values.
    • Make recommendations and resolve complex, unique employment related issues while supporting vital interactions between managers and employees to drive positive outcomes
    • Engage as a trusted adviser and essential partner to mentor on various employee relations matters. These include workplace investigations, performance concerns, conflict resolution, company reorganizations, and important separation issues.
    • Lead internal investigations in compliance and employee related matters, recommend solutions, and support the facilitation of the resolution
    • Partner with managers on complex performance matters and assess progress while coaching managers and employees through corrective and disciplinary actions
    • Contribute to regional projects and initiatives that support and advance strategic business priorities, drive global standardization and scale the function
    • Bring a consultative approach, offering perspective to challenge and elevate team thinking
    • Model the Adobe values and behaviors while mentoring employees and managers to do the same
    • Follow defined Adobe processes to provide a consistent employee experience related to all employee relations activities.
    • Partner with key collaborators across the business and Employee Experience function
    • Develop content and lead critical training for managers on employee relations topics
    • Support and counsel on employee wellbeing concerns as needed

    What you need to succeed

    • Experience leading multiple, concurrent, high-priority employee relations situations with a focus on providing clear guidance, timely and consistent execution
    • 8+ years of proven experience working in an Employee Relations and/or HR Business Partner role, with a proven ability to conduct workplace investigations
    • Ability to review concerns holistically, anticipate potential issues and diagnose the root cause through active listening and conscientious inquiry
    • Demonstrate effective influencing skills to provide resolution to complex and highly critical employee issues.
    • Effective in detailing and documenting case notes, investigation summaries, and correspondence with employees and partners
    • Ability to work both autonomously and as a team, while developing strong professional relationships with peers, managers, executives, and cross-functional teams
    • Solid understanding and capability to communicate about Federal, State and Local regulations; ADA and Leave of Absence
    • Bachelors required. JD or Masters preferred. Employment Law background, AWI Workplace Investigator Certification, or Human Resources certification a plus

    Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this positionis $101,300 -- $209,950 annually. Paywithin this range varies by work locationand may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills,and experience. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for the job location during the hiring process.

    In California, the pay range for this position is $145,000 - $209,950

    At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans. Non-sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short-term incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP).

    In addition, certain roles may be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
