POSITION: Sr Escrow Assistant

FULLTIME/PARTTIME: Full Time

LOCATION: Torrance, CA

SCHEDULE: Mon- Fri 8am- 5pm

ASSIGNMENT: 09/01/2025 to 12/31/2025 (temp to hire)

PAY RANGE: $22.15 hourly paid weekly.

About the Role
We’re seeking a detail-oriented Escrow Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will provide critical support to the Escrow department, ensuring smooth and accurate escrow closings. You’ll work directly with Escrow Officers, clients, and other stakeholders to prepare files, resolve title issues, and deliver outstanding customer service throughout the transaction process.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist Escrow Officers with customer service, file preparation, and administrative duties related to escrow closings

• Help clear title issues and prepare residential escrow files for closing

• Support business development activities by providing excellent service to clients and partners

• Draft and process escrow documents for various residential transactions, including wraps, assignments, and mobile homes

• Prepare simple closing statements with accuracy and attention to detail

• Provide work direction and guidance to other escrow support staff as needed

Skills & Qualifications

• 2–3 years of experience as an Escrow Assistant, with proficiency in handling complex residential transactions

• Strong customer service orientation with the ability to build positive client relationships

• Excellent verbal communication and problem-solving skills

• Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail

• High school diploma or GED (required)

WORKING CONDITIONS:

• May on occasion be exposed to loud sounds and distracting noise levels, such as from office equipment.
• The ability to lift up to 30lbs
• Use of computers and technology
