Technical Architect – Dynamics 365 F&O

Role Summary

We are seeking a Technical Architect to lead our D365 F&O capability. This role serves as the primary SME and leader for the ERP platform, combining high-level architectural design with team management. You will bridge the gap between IT and senior business stakeholders in Finance, Supply Chain, and Operations to ensure system scalability and performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of Developers, Analysts, and Integration specialists; manage external vendor and partner relationships.

• Architectural Ownership: Define and enforce D365 F&O best practices, technical standards, and governance across all modules.

• Business Partnership: Act as the lead IT liaison for Finance and Operations leaders, translating business needs into technical solutions.

• Project Delivery: Oversee the full lifecycle (design, dev, test, and deployment) for all F&O enhancements and integrations.

• Quality Assurance: Manage SIT/UAT strategies and maintain comprehensive system documentation.

Core Requirements

• 10+ years in IT with 5+ years of specific D365 F&O/AX leadership experience.

• Expert Functional Knowledge: Finance, SCM, Procurement, and Manufacturing.

• Technical Mastery: Deep understanding of F&O architecture, integration patterns, and customization.

• Leadership: Experience managing cross-functional teams and third-party managed services.

Preferred Skills

• Platform Ecosystem: Knowledge of Azure DevOps, Power Platform, and Logic Apps.

• Technical Tools: Experience with DMF, OData, Business Events, and API integrations.

• Education: Degree in CS, Engineering, or Business.
