Sr. Field Safety Officer to provide on-site support, conduct safety audits, and ensure full compliance with OSHA regulations and safety protocols. This role is heavily field-focused and will support projects involving electrical systems, heavy construction, and site operations. If you bring expertise in LOTO procedures, federal/state compliance, and thrive in a hands-on environment, this is a high-impact opportunity with room for leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct regular site safety audits and inspections to identify hazards and ensure regulatory compliance
Enforce and support LOTO (Lockout/Tagout) procedures on construction and electrical job sites
Serve as a field resource for project teams, addressing safety concerns and guiding incident prevention efforts
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of state and federal safety regulations, ensuring all practices meet current standards
Support job site orientations, toolbox talks, and routine safety briefings
Document findings and prepare reports on safety inspections, incidents, and corrective actions
Partner with site supervisors and subcontractors to uphold safety expectations
Track safety performance metrics and assist in the continuous improvement of safety protocols
Qualifications:
5+ years of experience in construction safety oversight, preferably on electrical or industrial projects
Knowledge of OSHA standards; OSHA 500 or 510 preferred
CSP, CSM, or BCSP certifications are a strong plus
Familiarity with field operations and construction workflows
Experience conducting safety audits and creating detailed safety reports
Strong communication skills and ability to engage field personnel at all levels
Comfortable with frequent site visits and hands-on safety enforcement
Ability to interpret regulations and apply them practically in dynamic job site conditions
