Sr. Financial Analyst- Client Services and Program Management
The Senior Financial Analyst, Client Strategic Finance will fill a key role within Asurion’s Finance organization. The Client Strategic Finance team is responsible for developing business cases, client program economic analysis and consolidation of the annual operating plan as well as for monthly forecasts and reporting. This position will provide critical financial analysis, oversight, and partnership with multiple operational FP&A and other functional teams across the Americas Mobility business to assist in driving decisions through fact-based financial data and analytics. The ideal candidate will have financial competence, strong business acumen, knowledge of financial analysis tools and techniques, critical thinking proficiency, and solid communication skills. The candidate must be customer-centric and be able to balance the demands of a rapidly growing, complex entrepreneurial environment. where ingenuity, rather than precedence, drives how things should be done.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Manage comprehensive monthly financial and operational reporting with emphasis on analytical decision support of leadership to optimize short and long-term business decisions and financial performance
Develop KPI driven reporting, short term forecasting models and long-range client financial models to present account economics and key construct sensitivities
Prepare meaningful and insightful PowerPoint presentations for sales and operational executives
Project manage reporting processes from initial data pulls through to final presentation with sharp focus on accuracy and process improvements to streamline reporting capabilities
Participate in the annual budgeting and forecasting processes
Work collaboratively across various Asurion finance functions to align on reporting hierarchy changes and reporting platform capabilities and improvements
Functional subject matter expert for financial system evolution (OneStream, Hyperion, BI tools, automation, etc.)
Prepare ad hoc analysis to support the broader Client Strategic Finance team as requested
HERE’S WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO THE TEAM:
A proven track record of academic and professional excellence
Bachelor's degree, preferably in economics, finance, accounting and/or analytics field.
MBA or CPA preferred but not required
2 to 4+ years of related business experience
In depth financial planning, financial analysis, data mining, and modeling expertise.
Strong Excel financial modeling skills are critical
Experience with OneStream or Hyperion Planning, Hyperion Essbase is highly desirable but not required
Intermediate to advanced technical skill, including proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.
