    Job Description

    Role Overview:
    The Senior Financial Analyst, TV Networks will report to the Senior Manager and provide critical financial support across MSNBC, CNBC, Golf Channel, USA, E!, SYFY, and Oxygen. This role is instrumental in driving accurate forecasting, insightful reporting, and strategic analysis of subscriber revenue. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical capabilities, a keen attention to detail, and a collaborative approach to support decision-making across the networks.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Assist with forecasting and reporting subscriber revenue, including budgets, long-range plans, and monthly pacing.
    • Maintain and enhance complex revenue models in collaboration with Distribution and Decision Sciences teams.
    • Assist in analysis of risks and opportunities related to subscriber revenue.
    • Collaborate with finance teams to maintain headcount and C&B budgets and models.
    • Contribute to free cash flow planning and analysis in partnership with Corporate FP&A team
    • Participate in system implementations and process improvements across News, Sports, and Entertainment finance teams.
    • Contribute to ad hoc strategic and financial projects as assigned.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
    • 2+ years of experience in financial planning & analysis, operational finance, or accounting.
    • Advanced Excel skills, including financial modeling, pivot tables, and scenario analysis (Power Query a plus).
    • Proficiency in PowerPoint.

    Desired Characteristics:

    • Prior experience in media, streaming, or direct-to-consumer businesses.
    • Familiarity with SAP, BW, BPC, or similar financial systems.
    • Solid interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to collaborate across functions and levels.
    • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management skills.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and manage multiple priorities.
    • Comfort with a culture of adaptability with continuous refinement of roles and processes.

    Additional Information:

    Hybrid : This position has been designated as hybrid, generally contributing from the New York, NY office a minimum of three days per week.

    This position is eligible for company sponsored benefits, including medical, dental and vision insurance, 401(k), paid leave, tuition reimbursement, and a variety of other discounts and perks. Salary range: $70,000 - $95,000.
