Overview
Our client, a growing engineering firm with a thriving portfolio of diverse projects, is seeking Fire Protection & Life Safety Engineers to lead impactful projects and shape the future of the business. This is a rare opportunity to join a company that values transparency, collaboration, and innovation — the opposite of a large, rigid corporate structure.
Whether you’re a seasoned Project Manager, an experienced Fire Protection Engineer (FPE), or an engineer ready to step into a leadership role, this position offers career advancement and the chance to directly influence the direction of a high-growth firm. With ambitions to expand into new markets and potentially open branch offices, you’ll have a seat at the table in helping guide the company’s future.

Lead fire protection and life safety engineering projects from design through completion.
Oversee project deliverables, including fire protection reports, code compliance, plan reviews, and egress/accessibility drawings.

Participate in weekly PM coordination meetings to ensure project deadlines and client satisfaction.
Mentor and collaborate with a skilled technical team to deliver high-quality outcomes.
Travel occasionally (1–2 months, mostly Western U.S.) for site visits, project kickoffs, or conferences, with minimal overnight stays.
