Sr. Trade Compliance Specialist – TCR4522

HIGH LEVEL OVERVIEW

The Sr. Trade Compliance Specialist is an export controls subject matter expert supporting the Global Trade Compliance team to ensure compliance with all applicable import and export rules and regulations.

This is a REMOTE position (except for candidates in ND, RI, DE, VT)

EXPECTATIONS

• Determine ECCN classification for parts, equipment, and technology 
• Manage export authorizations (licenses, agreements, exemptions/exceptions
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders; logistics, finance & tax, legal, procurement
• Provide guidance on international trade regulations to cross functional partners
• Stay current with changes in trade regulations to identify how they impact processes
• Ensure accurate documentation is created and maintained for all trade activities

ESSENTIALS

• Strong knowledge of export controls & trade regulations, including EAR, ITAR, OFAC
• Expert level in product ECCN classification
• Proficient with export control applications; OCR EASE, DECCS, SNAP-R, ACE
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or technical field required
• Experience with engineering or working with engineers
• 8 years’ Trade Compliance experience with a focus on export controls
• Critical thinking and excellent problem solving and analytical skills
• Ability to self-organize and thrive fast moving environment
• Must have or be able to obtain security clearance
