We are seeking a strategic and hands-on Data Engineering Leader to drive the design, development, and maintenance of our data infrastructure and pipelines. This role will oversee a high-performing team focused on delivering a robust, scalable master data platform while also enabling business intelligence (BI) initiatives and ensuring the effective use of enterprise data. Your leadership will be instrumental in shaping our data strategy, improving data quality, and building modern, cloud-based analytics capabilities.

Oversee the development and readiness of a scalable master data platform.
Ensure technical stability and best practices in Master Data Management (MDM).
Support BI and analytics efforts by ensuring high-quality data is accessible and consumable.
Develop and implement data governance and data quality frameworks to ensure data integrity.
Design and maintain data models, dictionaries, and classification schemas.
Enable scalable data pipelines in collaboration with architects and DBAs.
Implement data profiling, cleansing, mastering, and synchronization processes.
Enforce data access controls, ensuring secure and compliant data usage.
Evaluate and select tools to support data acquisition, integration, and system migrations.
Lead data mining initiatives to support business insights and strategy.
Analyze new data sources for quality and value.
Collaborate with BI and analytics teams to turn data into actionable insights.
Preferred Qualifications
7+ years of experience in data engineering or data management roles, with 3–5 years in a leadership or team lead capacity.
Proven experience with cloud-based data platforms, data lake architecture, and data warehousing.
Hands-on experience with data integration tools such as Azure Data Factory, SSIS, Alteryx, or API-based integrations.
Familiarity with Microsoft Fabric is preferred.
Strong understanding of data governance, MDM, and data pipeline design.
Knowledge of data privacy, security, and compliance standards.
Experience managing distributed teams (onshore and offshore).
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with a data-driven mindset.
Ability to manage multiple initiatives in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
