Job Summary:

Senior Java API Lead responsible for designing and developing scalable backend services using Spring Boot and microservices architecture. The role involves leading platform migration efforts supporting cloud-native deployments and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver secure high-quality solutions. Strong expertise in modern backend development cloud technologies and technical leadership is essential.

Required Skills & Qualifications

10+ years of overall experience

Minimum 5+ years in backend development and cloud-native applications

Strong experience with Java Spring Boot and Microservices Architecture

Experience with MongoDB

Cloud technologies experience including Kubernetes and Rancher

Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate with the team to design and implement new features aligned with business and technical requirements

Lead and contribute to the CA2.1 migration efforts for both DIY and Branch/Phone channels

Provide technical guidance and support to offshore teams helping resolve issues efficiently

Conduct peer code reviews to ensure code quality maintainability and adherence to best practices

Work closely with cross-functional teams including Product Owners QA and DevOps to ensure smooth delivery

Maintain clear and comprehensive technical documentation for new features and migration processes

Participate in unit integration and regression testing to ensure robust and reliable software

Monitor application performance and suggest optimizations where necessary

Engage in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning stand-ups and retrospectives

Ensure all development work aligns with security and compliance standards.
