E&P operator in Houston seeking an In-House Landman to support a multi-rig drilling program. This person will be responsible for managing ongoing land/operational processes for a designated area. 

Responsibilities:

• Handle negotiations
• Draft agreements/contracts/documents
• Pooling
• Subsurface land work
• Prepare drilling spacing units
• Keeping ahead of a drilling rig program

Qualifications:

• 8+ years of upstream E&P experience
• Bachelor's required
• New Mexico experience highly desirable
• Knowledge around BLM and Federal acreage required
• Must have recent experience working for an operator keeping ahead of an active drilling program
• Prefer local Houston candidates--no relocation will be provided
