    Job Description

    NBCUniversal is seeking a Senior Manager, Business Solutions for our Film & TV Studios Tech Ops team, supporting Participations and Residuals initiatives for NBCUniversal. In this role, the Sr. Manager will lead strategic business engagement across Financial Contracts Administration and Reporting (FCAR) teams, acting as the primary liaison and overseeing complex, cross-functional projects and system production support.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Lead and mentor a team of business analysts and support professionals (typically 1 – 4 direct reports), driving technology solutions for FCAR and related business units.
    • Engage senior stakeholders across Participations, Royalties, Residuals, and Audit functions to define business requirements, analyze data/processes, and deliver impactful technical solutions.
    • Oversee the intake, prioritization, and execution of technology requests, ensuring alignment with business strategy and operational goals.
    • Collaborate with executive leadership, Product, Engineering, Privacy, and Project Management teams to shape and deliver the technology roadmap for the FCAR businesses.
    • Own business applications and technology system operations, ensuring reliability, scalability, and compliance.
    • Direct application support, enhancement requests, user acceptance testing, and rollout of new features.
    • Lead large-scale projects, including new solution implementations, system enhancements, and infrastructure migrations.
    • Manage resource planning, budgets, and project finances, providing strategic oversight and ensuring optimal allocation.
    • Serve as the escalation point for operational issues, driving resolution and continuous improvement.
    • Guide Agile epic and story creation, ensuring business analysts deliver high-quality requirements for product development.
    • Champion stakeholder communication, fostering transparency and alignment across all initiatives.
    • Actively ensure compliance with the NBCUniversal technical ecosystem, while also innovating in AI initiatives and other process improvement opportunities with the overall goal of increasing processing efficiency, maintainability, and scalability of supported systems.
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • Minimum 8 years of relevant experience leading technology engagement/solutions teams, with a focus on financial projects, business/data analysis, and strategic leadership.
    • Additionally, minimum 3 years of management experience
    • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders in a complex, fast-paced environment.
    • Demonstrated strategic thinking, problem-solving, and change leadership skills.
    • Exceptional communication skills, able to influence and collaborate with senior leadership, technical teams, and end-users.
    • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and motivated to drive results.
    • Extensive experience in requirements gathering, design specification, and structured IT analysis methodologies.
    • Deep expertise supporting large, custom financial applications, databases, and complex calculations.
    • Strong track record of building business relationships with key partners and stakeholders.

    Desired Characteristics

    • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Finance, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
    • 5+ years of experience in Participations, Royalties, Residuals, and Audit functions.
    • Experience in the Global Media & Entertainment industry.
    • Expertise in workflow solutions, analytics, and reporting/visualization tools (Power BI, PowerPivot, SQL).
    • Agile environment experience and strong presentation/analytical skills.
    • Ability to lead and collaborate with remote teams across time zones.

    Hybrid : This position has been designated as hybrid, which currently requires contributing from the office a minimum of three days per week. Beginning January 5, 2026, hybrid employees will be required to work from the office a minimum of four days per week. The Company reserves the right to change in-office requirements at any time.

    $140,000-$140,000 per year
