    Job Description

    The Sr. Manager, Data & AI, Energy is responsible for managing and leading high performing teams responsible for extracting vast data sets and transforming those insights into new revenue generating products and strategic solutions.

    Essential Functions

    1. Support the development of strategic business roadmaps by collaborating with business leaders to identify and prioritize use cases, coordinate execution across teams, track progress, and report updates to leadership.
    2. Provide guidance to a team of business strategists and analysts focused on delivering end-to-end data analytics to support enterprise growth and decision-making.
    3. Promote the adoption of data enablement solutions by leveraging analytics, machine learning, and AI technologies to meet business needs.
    4. Contribute to the development and enhancement of data-driven products and services aligned with stakeholder requirements.
    5. Oversee the implementation, maintenance, and improvement of digital tools and solutions that enhance operational efficiency and data quality.
    6. Lead cross-functional teams in identifying and addressing complex business challenges using data and advanced analytics.
    7. Support change management efforts by fostering organizational buy-in, addressing concerns, facilitating training, and communicating roadmaps for new tools and technologies.
    8. Stay informed about emerging technologies and industry trends to help identify innovative solutions that deliver business value.
    9. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for data initiatives, and support continuous improvement through data-driven insights and stakeholder feedback.
    10. Collaborate with data and software partners to align their capabilities with internal use cases and ensure delivery of valuable features.
    11. Model behaviors that reflect the company’s core values and commitment to supporting guests and team members.
    12. Ensure team activities comply with relevant rules, regulations, policies, and procedures.
    13. Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in mathematics, finance, economics, computer science, science or engineering fields required, Master’s or equivalent preferred
    • 5+ years of experience with program/project management is preferred.

    Specialized Knowledge

    • Experience managing technically complex programs across cross functional teams; able to balance short-term goals with long-term vision
    • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
    • Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills to build and articulate a strategic vision
    • Proven experience in developing and implementing AI and Advanced analytics in a business setting preferred
    • Strong understanding of data and AI, including machine learning, natural language processing, and large language models preferred
    • Strong fluency in AI/GenAI to bridge the gap between business and functional domains and communicate with both technical and business partners preferred
    • Extensive experience using Agile methodology, and relevant tools (Jira, Confluence)
    • Advanced Microsoft Office skills
