Our client is an established and well-known brand specializing in high-quality, responsibly sourced and manufactured athletic apparel that functions as both gym and streetwear. They have a thriving e-commerce business and popular brick-and-mortar retail stores. With a rapidly expanding global retail footprint of 200+ stores and ambitious international growth plans, the company is scaling its leadership infrastructure to match its trajectory. They are seeking a Senior Manager of Global Workforce Management & Scheduling Platforms to serve as an enterprise leader responsible for defining, scaling, and executing the company’s global WFM and retail operations strategy through its scheduling and labor management platforms. This role sits at the intersection of labor strategy, technology, and operational execution—ideal for a technically-fluent WFM leader who thrives in complex, high-growth environments and is energized by building scalable systems from the ground up.

This is primarily an in-person role, reporting to our client’s offices in Beverly Hills (Los Angeles). The client is open to considering spot-on candidates at the Director level.

    Responsibilities:

    - Serve as primary owner of the company’s global WFM platform strategy, aligning labor planning, allocation, and scheduling practices with business objectives and demand drivers across a growing international store fleet
    - Establish and maintain global scheduling standards and platform governance frameworks to ensure consistency, scalability, and readiness across peak periods and new market launches
    - Implement and manage labor models, scheduling rules, and compliance configurations within WFM systems; drive ongoing refinement as store operations, labor laws, and business needs change
    - Lead labor testing and validation efforts when connected systems—such as POS, timekeeping, payroll, or sales attribution—undergo changes, ensuring schedule accuracy and payroll integrity are protected
    - Ensure compliance with applicable labor laws, predictive scheduling regulations, and working-time requirements across all geographies; partner with HR and Legal to build and maintain an enforceable compliance strategy
    - Lead WFM platform implementation activities for new country and market launches, accounting for local operational requirements, labor law nuances, and new store formats
    - Measure and analyze scheduling effectiveness KPIs, leveraging data to continuously optimize labor models and auto-scheduling logic
    - Own the vendor relationship and day-to-day business operations with scheduling platform providers
    - Lead and develop a globally distributed team, establishing clear expectations, succession plans, and development pathways; foster a culture of accountability, innovation, and data-driven decision-making

    Qualifications:
    - Bachelor’s degree, preferred
    - 6+ years of experience in retail workforce management, labor planning, or a closely related discipline within a large, complex, multi-unit retail organization; showing strong progression
    - Proven success developing and executing enterprise or multi-region workforce strategies supporting thousands of employees across multiple countries
    - Experience supporting international retail operations, new market launches, or complex system integrations
    - Deep expertise in WFM platform configuration, labor model architecture, scheduling methodology, and labor optimization—experience with Legion strongly preferred
    - Strong working knowledge of labor laws, predictive scheduling ordinances, and multi-geography compliance requirements
    - Advanced analytical capabilities with the ability to translate complex workforce data into clear insights and recommendations for executive audiences
    - Exceptional cross-functional influencing and change management skills; comfortable navigating fast-paced, high-growth environments
    - Background in premium, omnichannel, or globally expanding apparel, lifestyle, or specialty retail preferred
    - Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as business needs require; must be based in or willing to relocate to the greater Los Angeles area

Compensation: Targeting a base salary of $145,000–$160,000 + bonus
