Job Description
This position is responsible for leading the Sourcing and Procurement functions for Universal Studios Hollywood, overseeing daily procurement operations, sourcing strategies, and supplier relationships. The Sr. Manager will deliver procurement efficiency, beneficial spend economics and savings via utilization of sourcing strategies /best practices, on-time ordering accuracy, supplier compliance, and consistent execution across all Food & Beverage categories. This role will also oversee sourcing readiness and onboarding for all new ventures, ensuring that new concepts are fully supported through SKU setup, vendor engagement, and procurement readiness. Additionally, this position will serve as the primary liaison to the Group Purchasing Organization (GPO) for all R&D and New Venture sourcing efforts, ensuring alignment with Universal’s sourcing governance framework and overall corporate strategy.
This position requires a candidate with proven leadership ability to facilitate, guide, and implement improvements within the sourcing organization and operation of the company. This position will lead a team of sourcing professionals and must have the ability to motivate others to meet the challenges of a face paced, collaborative, and results driven environment. This position will work to ensure Sourcing initiatives are executed efficiently, industry best practices are adopted, and corporate Sourcing policies are adhered to for Universal’s domestic properties; may require global interaction with stakeholders and other UPR Sourcing professionals. Travel is required.
