    Summary

    We are looking for a Sr. Mechanical Engineer to join a rapidly growing construction and specialty contracting company. Our client is a respected industry leader supporting highly technical and mission-critical environments through integrated construction and technology solutions.

    This senior-level engineering role leads the design and delivery of complex mechanical and plumbing systems for commercial and industrial facilities. The position blends technical expertise, team leadership, and client collaboration, with a focus on delivering efficient, constructible designs and supporting long-term client relationships.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Lead mechanical and plumbing system design for large commercial and industrial projects

    • Oversee concept development, system optimization, and engineering documentation

    • Collaborate with project managers and field teams to ensure practical, cost-effective designs

    • Review drawings, specifications, and design calculations for quality and accuracy

    • Mentor and provide technical oversight to engineering and design staff

    • Support project planning, estimating, and feasibility studies

    • Partner with clients and consultants to develop design solutions and maintain strong relationships

    • Drive process improvements, innovation, and best practices within the design team

    • Promote a strong safety culture and professional standards

    Requirements

    • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or related field

    • 10+ years of mechanical design experience in commercial or industrial environments

    • Professional Engineer (PE) license

    • Experience with design-build project delivery preferred

    • Proficiency with engineering and design software tools (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, Microsoft Office)

    • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills

    • Ability to manage multiple priorities and collaborate across teams

    • Valid driver’s license and ability to visit active job sites
