  • Responsibilities

    The Sr. Mrg, Commercial oversees the full lifecycle of government and commercial contracts—from proposal development through contract closeout—ensuring compliance with complex regulatory requirements, effective risk management, and alignment with business objectives. Serves as a critical liaison between legal, commercial, finance, and program teams to ensure contractual obligations are clearly understood and successfully executed. Key responsibilities include drafting, reviewing, and administering contracts; managing modifications and change orders; supporting audit activities; negotiating terms and conditions; and proactively identifying and mitigating contractual risks.

    Required Skills

    • Contract Lifecycle Management:
      Manage all phases of government and commercial contracts, including pre‑award (proposal review, RFI/RFP responses), award, administration, and closeout. Monitor and analyze contract performance to ensure full compliance with terms, conditions, and company policies.

    • Regulatory Compliance & Risk Management:
      Ensure adherence to federal regulations (FAR, DFARS, and related requirements). Identify legal and business risks, develop mitigation strategies, and support audits, reviews, and protests.

    • Contract Negotiation:
      Engage in negotiations with contracting officers to secure favorable terms, pricing structures, and profit objectives while maintaining strong customer relationships.

    • Documentation & Reporting:
      Draft, review, revise, and maintain contractual documents; oversee contract files; track key milestones and deliverables; and prepare required contractual and performance reports.

    • Policy Development & Training:
      Develop, implement, and maintain contract management policies and procedures. Provide training and guidance to internal teams to ensure compliance and consistency in contract practices.

    Required Experience

    • 5-7 years experience

    • Expert Knowledge of Federal Regulations:
      Comprehensive understanding of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS), and related government contracting requirements.

    • Advanced Analytical, Negotiation & Communication Skills:
      Strong ability to interpret complex contractual language, negotiate favorable terms, and communicate effectively with internal stakeholders and external contracting officers.

    • Risk Assessment & Advisory Capability:
      Proven ability to evaluate contractual, legal, and business risks and provide clear, actionable guidance to support strategic decision‑making.

    • Systems & Reporting Proficiency:
      Experience with contract management systems and government reporting tools, including familiarity with CPARS and related compliance platforms.
