Senior Mortgage Loan Processor

Motivation Mortgage is a growing mortgage brokerage seeking an experienced Senior Mortgage Loan Processor to join our operations team. This role is responsible for managing loan files from submission through closing, working closely with loan officers, borrowers, and third-party vendors to ensure an efficient and accurate loan process.

We are looking for a processor who thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment and takes pride in delivering clean files to underwriting and closing.

Responsibilities

Manage residential mortgage loan files from submission to clear-to-close

Review loan applications and documentation for completeness and accuracy

Analyze borrower income, assets, and credit documentation

Submit loans through lender portals and manage underwriting conditions

Communicate with loan officers, borrowers, and third-party vendors throughout the process

Order and track third-party services (appraisals, title, insurance, verifications)

Ensure files meet investor guidelines and compliance requirements

Maintain organized and accurate loan documentation in the LOS

Production Expectations

Ability to manage 25–40 active loan files per month

Maintain strong communication with borrowers, loan officers, and partners throughout the loan process

Deliver well-structured files to underwriting to minimize conditions and delays

Maintain organization and accuracy while handling multiple files and deadlines

Qualifications

3+ years of mortgage processing experience

Strong knowledge of Conventional, FHA, VA, and Jumbo loan programs

Experience working with multiple lenders and underwriting guidelines

Ability to analyze income documents (tax returns, W-2s, bank statements, etc.)

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Ability to manage multiple loan files in a fast-paced environment

Experience with mortgage LOS systems (Arive experience a plus)
