Vector Talent Solutions is a veteran-owned workforce solutions firm dedicated to helping organizations identify, attract, and hire top talent. We are currently seeking an Experienced Paralegal in support of our client, located in Carrollton, Georgia.
This is a full-time, in-office position for a dependable legal professional who can step into an active practice and support matters from initial client intake through final resolution. This is not an entry-level opportunity.
Position Details
- Location: Carrollton, GA
- Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.
- Work Environment: In-office
- Local candidates who live within approximately one hour of Carrollton are strongly preferred.
What You’ll Do
- Support cases from intake, file opening, and document collection through settlement, trial preparation, final disposition, and file closing.
- Prepare and file pleadings, motions, notices, discovery, subpoenas, proposed orders, exhibits, and other legal documents.
- Draft professional correspondence, demand letters, client communications, case summaries, timelines, factual narratives, and memoranda.
- Maintain accurate case files, calendars, deadlines, court dates, client notes, and supporting documentation.
- Assist with client intake, interviews, records requests, and case development.
- Attend court hearings and meetings as needed; organize exhibits, assist clients and witnesses, and document testimony, rulings, and follow-up actions.
- Communicate professionally with clients, courts, opposing counsel, medical providers, insurance companies, agencies, and other stakeholders.
Qualifications
- At least four years of verifiable paralegal, law-office, court system, corporate legal department, or closely related legal experience.
- General knowledge of civil litigation, court procedures, filing requirements, service requirements, and legal deadlines.
- Experience with workers’ compensation and Social Security disability matters is helpful.
- Experience in personal injury, family law, probate, wills and estates, corporate law, landlord-tenant matters, or other civil practice areas is a plus.
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Word, Outlook, Adobe Acrobat, PDF preparation, electronic filing systems, case-management software, and digital file maintenance.
- Strong written communication, organization, professionalism, judgment, and client-service skills.
- Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and remain calm and effective in a fast-paced legal environment.
- Dependable attendance, reliable transportation, and availability to attend court and case-related proceedings as needed.
