  • Responsibilities

    Our client is seeking a full-time, remote Portfolio Director or Senior Product Manager responsible for new and enhanced service offerings in the areas of Joint Use Management, Broadband services, Pole Loading Analysis, and Make Ready Design services.  The role is key in advancing market leadership through innovation and cross-functional collaboration.

    Location - remote, anywhere in US.

    Responsibilities

    • Develop and maintain deep expertise in electric and telecom utility engineering and joint use activities.
    • Lead the enhancement of existing offerings and the development of new solutions by conducting research, testing, documentation, and business case preparation.
    • Collaborate with Product Managers and internal departments (Engineering, Operations, Software Development, etc.) to define and implement new functionalities that enhance competitive advantage.
    • Drive ideation processes to generate product and service innovations aligned with corporate goals and growth strategies.
    • Conduct market analysis and develop business plans to validate new opportunities, support investment decisions, and guide strategic direction.
    • Oversee the creation and communication of technical specifications for both new and existing products and services.
    • Partner with Business Development, Solutions Consulting, and Operations to ensure effective implementation and integration of offerings.
    • Develop and execute training and rollout plans in conjunction with internal training teams.
    • Support sales teams by acting as an expert in customer engagement efforts.
    • Promote a culture of continuous improvement across all service lines.
    • Build and maintain strategic partnerships.
    • Represent company in trade groups and speak at industry events to promote the company’s strategies and thought leadership.

    Qualifications

    • BS in Engineering, Software, or a related technical field.
    • Experience in product management and/or product development.
    • Experience in the electric and/or telecommunications utility industries.
    • Strong communication skills, including the ability to present to customers and executives.
    • Proven ability to collaborate across teams including Business Development, Operations, Contracts, Software Development, and Executive Leadership.
    • Self-motivated, dependable, and aligned with the company’s core values.
    • Willingness to travel as needed
