  • Responsibilities

    We are looking for a dynamic Sr. Product Manager to join our growing startup. As a key contributor on a small marketing team, the Sr. Product Manager will play a key role in defining the direction of our product program in the peripheral space, building the roadmap and executing on the goals. This individual will become the face of the franchise, owning and overseeing the entire product lifecycle from product conceptualization (upstream) to commercialization (downstream).

    Responsibilities

    • Identify clinical opportunities and optimal markets to drive product adoption and utilization.
    • Collect and translate voice of market and voice of customer (VOM and VOC) needs into clearly defined objectives, product requirements and market/use specifications.
    • Inform product development decisions in collaboration with R&D using insights/input gleaned from competitive intelligence, market trends and perceptions, clinical knowledge, customer buying behaviors, etc.
    • Lead and execute product launch activities from developing effective product messaging and positioning, pricing, customer targeting, sales support materials, etc.
    • Foster relationships with key opinion leader (KOL) through engagement and congresses to help shape franchise plans and drive product adoption.
    • Serve as a clinical and product expert to physician customers and internal stakeholders.
    • Identify best practices to address key business challenges and opportunities.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful delivery of completed products.

    Requirements

    \- B.A. or B.S.

    \- Masters/MBA preferred but not required

    \- 3+ years in upstream (new product development) and/or downstream (product launch/commercialization) marketing roles in medical devices

    \- 5+ years in medical device, life science, pharmaceutical, or other regulated industry

    \- Prior experience in peripheral vascular area preferred?

    \- Ability to travel up to 30%. Weekend travel as required.

    \- Ability to work at HQ in Menlo Park

    \- Proven results based on critical thinking, creativity, adaptability and attention to detail
