    Job Description

    AECOM Technical Services, Inc. is seeking a Sr. Project Manager in Los Angeles, CA.

    Job details:

    • Project Manager and group lead.
    • Responsible for the overall management administration of the project and assists in establishing project-specific objectives and policies.
    • Provides management and guidance to subordinate managers, enforces company and project policies, and is a primary liaison between AECOM and client interface.
    • Oversees and ensures all facets of the project are constructed in accordance with design, budget, and schedule through subordinate managers and supervisors.
    • Responsible for administering the project from the budgeting/schedule stage through\ procurement and contract closeout.
    • The position has significant profit/loss responsibility for assigned projects.
    • Performs technical quality reviews, including documentation in project records in accordance with policies and procedures.
    • Engages with project technical teams within the field of expertise to confirm project approach and review deliverables.
    • Responsible for staff hiring, performance reviews, and team utilization.
    • Proactively communicate and lead department staff.
    • Contribute to the company's business development by helping with project bids.
    • Maintain a good relationship with clients and other stakeholders.
    • May telecommute.
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    Candidates must have a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field and 8 years experience in the job offered or in a related occupation.

    Position requires experience in the following:

    1. Experience in highway design, including preliminary to detailed design.
    2. Prepare construction documents, including plans, specifications, and estimates.
    3. Oversight of inter-disciplinary design coordination.
    4. Coordination with project stakeholders.
    5. Working knowledge of design software such as MicroStation, AutoCAD, and Civil 3D.
    6. Project management experience leading small to medium sized highway projects.
