    Position Overview

    We are seeking an experienced Project Manager with General Contractor (GC) experience to lead the execution of commercial construction projects from preconstruction through closeout. This role is field-driven and execution-focused, requiring hands-on ownership of subcontractor coordination, schedule control, and day-to-day jobsite operations.

    This position is not an Owner’s Representative or Program Management role. The Project Manager serves as the GC’s direct representative and is accountable for construction execution, field performance, and delivery.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Act as the General Contractor’s Project Manager with full responsibility for construction execution

    • Directly manage and coordinate subcontractors and trade partners

    • Oversee daily field operations, sequencing of work, and site logistics

    • Develop, maintain, and recover construction schedules (CPM / critical path)

    • Lead subcontractor meetings, coordination meetings, and on-site reviews

    • Manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, and cost tracking

    • Partner closely with Superintendents to drive jobsite productivity

    • Identify and resolve constructability, schedule, and performance issues in real time

    • Maintain project documentation through closeout

    Required Experience

    • 5+ years as a Project Manager employed by a General Contractor

    • Demonstrated experience managing commercial construction projects

    • Direct responsibility for:

      • Subcontractor management

      • Field operations

      • Construction scheduling

      • On-site execution

    • Regular jobsite presence throughout project lifecycle

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Experience with commercial, retail, office, industrial, or mixed-use construction

    • Strong working knowledge of construction means and methods

    • Ability to lead projects in a fast-paced, field-oriented environment

    Experience Not Aligned with This Role

    • Owner’s Representative roles

    • Program Management

    • Facilities Management

    • Capital Program Oversight

    • CMAR / advisory-only roles

    may not be a fit unless they have documented GC-employed Project Manager experience.

    Work Environment

  • Compensation
    $130,000-$160,000 per year
