LONG TERM CONTRACT
We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead and oversee transformative IT projects within our comprehensive public health system.
This contract offers the chance to apply your expertise to critical healthcare technology initiatives, shaping the future of public health services. You'll engage in stimulating challenges and contribute directly to projects that improve patient care and operational efficiency.
This is a hybrid role and we are looking for a candidate able to work onsite in Ventura, CA for 3 days of the week. Preferably local candidates who can be on site most of the time.

What We're Looking For
Qualifications:
· Education: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field. Preference will be given to candidates with formal project management certifications (e.g., PMP, CSM, PgMP).
· Experience:
o 10+ years of progressive experience in project and/or program management, ideally with some contract or consulting roles.
o A minimum of 5 years of dedicated experience in Healthcare IT environments.
o Demonstrated success in leading and delivering large-scale, complex IT projects across diverse healthcare settings, including hospitals, clinics, and public health initiatives.
Technical Experience:
· Exceptional command of formal project management methodologies, encompassing planning, risk and issue management, financial oversight, change management, test management, and executive status reporting.
· Proficiency with at least one enterprise-level Project Portfolio Management (PPM) tool such as ServiceNow, Clarity, Planview, or Smartsheets.
· Familiarity with a range of clinical applications and strong experience with Cerner

· Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences and seamlessly integrate with existing teams.
· Strong emotional intelligence and proven leadership abilities, capable of fostering collaborative environments with business leaders, clinical stakeholders, and IT teams while ensuring strict adherence to project timelines and deliverables.
· A proactive, self-starter mindset, comfortable working autonomously with minimal supervision and taking full ownership of project outcomes.
· Adept at managing multiple concurrent projects within a hybrid project management framework, skillfully applying both Waterfall (SDLC) and Agile methodologies as appropriate to achieve optimal results.
