    Our client is a well-established, privately held organization recognized as a national leader in its niche retail and distribution industry, known for its quality, stability, and innovation. The company is currently in the midst of a large-scale digital transformation initiative that spans eCommerce modernization, workflow and warehouse automation, and operational process redesign across multiple business units.

    They are seeking a Sr Project Manager who can take ownership of multiple concurrent initiatives, bring structure and predictability to project delivery, and help strengthen the organization’s project management best practices. This is a hands-on delivery role where you’ll manage cross-functional software, operations, and warehouse automation projects while jumping into requirements work when needed.

    This position is full-time, hybrid, and based in the Downingtown, PA area.

     

    The Role You’ll Play

    As the Sr Project Manager, you will oversee and coordinate a diverse portfolio of high-impact projects across IT, warehouse operations, systems automation, and application development. You will be responsible for establishing clear timelines, tracking deliverables, managing risks, and facilitating communication across technical and business teams.

    This is not a “high-level PMO-only” position; rather, it requires a hands-on, sleeves-up project manager who can run point on execution while also supporting some requirements discovery in early phases. You will partner closely with leadership on improving project reporting, dashboarding, and communication practices, including executive-level updates.

    • Lead multiple concurrent technology and operations projects from planning through execution

    • Collaborate with business stakeholders to define the scope, gather requirements, and break work into actionable plans

    • Create and maintain project plans, timelines, and status reporting

    • Develop risk logs, decision logs, and steering committee-level updates

    • Coordinate cross-functional efforts with IT, operations, warehouse, and vendor/consultant partners

    • Support requirements gathering when projects are in discovery, ensuring clarity for both technical and business teams

    • Help refine PM best practices, templates, processes, and delivery rhythms

    • Facilitate communication across teams, ensuring timely updates and issue resolution

    Background Profile:

    The ideal candidate brings strong experience managing software, operations, or warehouse-related projects in a hands-on role. You balance structured delivery with flexibility, and you’re comfortable working in a lean environment where you may need to create clarity where none exists. Experience presenting to executives and driving disciplined project reporting is important.

    • 7+ years of experience in Project Management (technology or operations)

    • Proven success managing multiple concurrent projects across cross-functional teams

    • Ability to step into light business analysis work when required

    • Experience with warehouse, inventory, ERP, or supply-chain-related systems is strongly preferred

    • Strong communication skills, including the ability to present to senior leadership

    • Experience developing PM best practices, templates, or process improvements

    • Hands-on, execution-focused mindset

    • Ability to manage risk, track dependencies, and drive deliverables through completion

    Preferred:

    • Background in organizations with maturing or lean PMO environments

    • Experience presenting to steering committees or executive groups

    • Experience with warehouse automation, product flow, or inventory optimization initiatives

  • Compensation
    $130,000-$140,000 per year
