    SQL Server Database Administrator

    We are looking for a motivated SQL Server Database Administrator with strong experience in performance tuning, troubleshooting, and keeping mission-critical systems running at their best. This is not a developer role. It is focused on administration, production support, and ensuring reliability and security.     What You’ll Do

    • Monitor database systems to ensure uptime, security, and smooth performance for IT customers
    • Troubleshoot and resolve complex SQL Server issues in production environments
    • Create, maintain, and test backup and disaster recovery plans to safeguard business-critical data
    • Manage database maintenance, rollouts, upgrades, and system improvements
    • Implement and release database changes with accuracy and minimal disruption
    • Provide performance trend analysis that helps leadership make informed decisions
    • Stay current with new technologies and apply them to real business challenges
    • Help shape and enforce IT application standards across the division

    What You Bring

    • Proven SQL Server database administration and performance tuning experience
    • Initiative and self-sufficiency to manage projects from start to finish
    • Experience managing SQL Server security for both internal and external environments
    • Strong problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills
    • Ability to adapt and succeed in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment

    Your Background

    • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent experience
    • 3 to 5 years working with SQL applications (Windows or web-based)
    • 1 to 3 years in a database administration role supporting production systems
    • Hands-on experience monitoring and tuning SQL databases on large systems
    • Strong knowledge of T-SQL, stored procedures, and performance optimization
    • Microsoft SQL Server certification preferred
