Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Part-Time Salesforce Architect to lead the design, optimization, and governance of our Salesforce platform. This role will provide strategic and hands-on architectural guidance, ensuring scalable, secure, and high-performing Salesforce solutions aligned with business goals. The ideal candidate brings deep technical expertise, strong stakeholder communication skills, and the ability to work independently in a part-time capacity.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and oversee Salesforce architecture across clouds (e.g., Sales, Service, Experience, Marketing, or custom solutions)
Translate business requirements into scalable Salesforce solutions and technical designs
Define and enforce best practices for data modeling, security, integrations, and automation
Review and guide development work (admins, developers, and partners) to ensure architectural integrity
Lead system optimization, technical debt reduction, and performance improvements
Design and review integrations with third-party systems using APIs, middleware, and data sync tools
Support release planning, multiple environment strategy (lower, staging, pre-prod, prod etc.) , and deployment processes
Ensure compliance with security, data governance, and regulatory standards
Provide architectural documentation, diagrams, and technical roadmaps
Act as a trusted advisor to business and technical stakeholders
Required Qualifications
5+ years of hands-on Salesforce experience, including architecture and solution design
Strong expertise in Salesforce configuration, customization, and platform limits
Experience with Salesforce integrations (REST/SOAP APIs, middleware, ETL tools)
Must be able to work on internal and external portals and user provisioning modules
Solid understanding of data architecture, sharing models, and security frameworks
Proven ability to lead technical decisions and influence cross-functional teams
Salesforce certifications such as Salesforce Certified Technical Architect (CTA), Application Architect, or System Architect needed
Excellent communication and documentation skills
Experience working in part-time, consulting, or multi-client environments
Familiarity with DevOps tools (e.g., Copado, Gearset, Git-based CI/CD pipelines)
Experience with large-scale orgs, complex data models, or multi-cloud implementations
